10 Good Reasons for Joining
Credit unions are financial co-operatives owned and democratically operated by the people who save and borrow with them. Credit unions are totally committed to the financial well-being of their members. Credit unions were introduced to Australia in 1946 by Kevin Yates who had observed their success in Canada during World War II. Today, the Australian Credit Union Movement, represents a large customer base with 3.6 million members or about one in every five adults.
